About Palm, Inc.
Palm, Inc. was founded by Jeff Hawkins in 1992 with the help of Donna Dubinsky and Ed Colligan. The company is based in Sunnyvale, California where it manufactures Personal Digital Assistant devices which includes their previous products like the Palm Pilot, Palm III, Palm V and Palm VII.
On January 4, 2006, Palm released the Palm Treo 700w, the first Windows Mobile-powered Treo in a partnership with Verizon Wireless and Microsoft.
As of September 2007, there have been 17 Treo models. Treos through the 680 series have used Palm OS; Beginning with the 700 series, Treos smartphones both use the Palm OS and Windows Mobile. The Treo 700w was the first of the 700 line and the first Treo to ever use Windows Mobile.

- Palm Treo 755p - More compact design than the 700p, This smart phone has integrated Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and EV-DO support. However it is a bit pricey and feels bulky and heavy compared to other full QWERTY devices.
- Palm Treo 800w - Brings the addition of Wi-Fi and GPS. The Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone also offers EV-DO Rev. Features higher resolution touch screen; a slimmer design; and a 2-megapixel camera.
